A Warm Welcome to Members and Visitors.
From Lady Captain.
I wish to introduce myself, Alison Gedge, as Lady Captain to all members of Walmersley Golf Club. It is a privilege and an honour to stand as Lady Captain for 2018 at Walmersley Golf Club.
I join the Captain in welcoming all members, new and old, and visitors alike.
I look forward to supporting Mr President, John Ankers, Mr Captain Phil Brimelow, Mr Vice Captain, Steve Fox, the Lady President, Liz Dyson, and Lady Vice Captain Helen Parkinson.
The ladies of Walmersley have an extremely active section, where we encourage and support any ladies that wish to take up the game.
The ladies have their own Committee and run their own competitions throughout the year. We are always looking for suggestions and ideas to help take the club forward.
Professional
Any ladies that would like to take the game up our Club Professional, Karl Tighe, is on hand to offer his support and assistance with your game and equipment. He also provides lessons for individuals or groups, when requested.
Greenkeeper
Robin, our Head Greenkeeper, and his staff keep the course in excellent condition throughout the year.
Stewardess
Shelia Owen
Excellent catering facilities are available if required through the stewardess at reasonable rates.
The location of the club offers fantastic vistas across Lancashire, with views as far out as Wales on a clear day. There are also facilities for corporate business meetings, private parties, barbeques, wedding receptions, funeral commemorations, christenings and many more. Please feel free to contact us for any requirements you may have.
